Flame Tokay - One of the first varieties of American selection

Flame Tokay is one of the leading varieties of American selection, it is an ancestor of the Cardinal variety.

Until the seedless varieties with big grains appeared onto the market, this variety was considered as the main table variety of California.

The grapes are very large and attractive. The grains are, also, oval, pink-orange with seeds. The taste is sweet with a flavour of fruits.

The period of ripening is middle-late.

The variety is productive, transportable and it stores well.

So far, it is being produced in California in large amounts, for export.
