A variety of French origin, cultivated first in Bordeaux, currently widespread in different parts of the wine world. It serves in producing red table wines of brand and merging.
The grapes are medium-sized, pyramidal, winged, more or less dispersed, with the stalk green or pink. The grains - medium-sized, round, blue-violet with pruina, peel of medium density, juicy and sweet pulp, tasting like solonaceae.
The variety is characterized by a period of late-middle ripening and average period of the bud opening.
